TransCore’s Sense & Track trailer tracking is a rugged, durable satellite terminal that provides our customers with all standard tracking features of our Slap & Track unit, but with the addition of valuable monitoring capabilities.
Reefer Sensors
The Sense & Track terminal is powered directly by the reefer unit for quick response time to monitor temperature. The specific temperature or range can be set, with verification that the temperature was maintained at the same level or within the range for the duration of the trip. A notification alert can be sent to dispatch if the temperature deviates from the set range to alleviate any claims for damaged goods.
Door Sensors
Ensure that your customers’ freight is safe & secure. The door sensors will immediately notify dispatch when the door of a trailer has been opened beyond the set parameters.
Cargo Sensors
When spotting trailers at a customers’ location, be notified immediately once the trailer has been loaded or unloaded by the customer. For trailers in your yard, receive reports on which ones are available for use and which ones are loaded.
Hook/Unhook Sensors
Hook sensors will immediately notify you when a tractor has hooked up to a trailer and confirmation that it was the correct one. Never worry about a driver picking up the wrong trailer.
